What is a chukka?
For players of every level
A chukka is a period of play in a polo match, usually about seven minutes. At The Norwegian Polo Club in Manstad you can play club chukkas as a member or guest.
Once you have taken polo lessons, chukkas are the next step. Match-Ready in 10 Hours takes you from beginner to your first match.
Experienced players visiting Norway are welcome to get in touch about playing.

Membership
Become a member
Members play club chukkas at their own price. Club membership costs kr 9 000 for one season, from April to the end of September, and is invoiced. Membership gives you the right to play chukkas for kr 1 000 and use of the club’s horses.

How long is a chukka?
A chukka usually lasts about seven minutes of playing time.
Can I play chukkas without being a member?
Yes, guests can play chukkas for kr 1 300 a chukka. Members pay kr 1 000.
